  • Leipzig/Halle Airport is a subsidiary of Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG and is one of the two Central German airports, alongside Dresden Airport.

  • With freight volumes of more than 1.6 million tonnes per annum, Leipzig/Halle is Germany’s second-largest cargo airport.

  • Thanks to its excellent connections, 669,886 of passengers from the Leipzig/Halle urban region and beyond use the airport in order to travel to destinations all over the world, either on non-stop or feeder flights.

LEIPZIGER VERKEHRSBETRIEBE (LVB) GMBH

  • Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe is the mobility service authority in Leipzig. With a fleet of more than 280 streetcars and 160 buses we transport more than 100 million passengers a year. We use all our energy to get all passengers to their destinations quickly and comfortably - whether traveling as a Leipzig citizen, a city tourist or a congress attendee.

  • Our streetcars and buses usually run every 10 minutes on weekdays and Saturday and every 15 minutes on Sunday.
